"Photos -- Though we're by No Means Unpacked"
Here are a few photos of the interior of the house now that it has furniture, boxes, more boxes, lots of stuff not yet put away, and the beginnings of 'somebody lives here.' We still don't have curtains. We use a 3 fold display board that graphically shows information on Sharks -- it's an A+ project from GDG's school from a couple years ago -- as the master bedroom curtain to block out the (party) neighbors bright lights. (Wish it did something for the bad karaoke at 3:30 a.m.)
kitchen 3 -- gotta' love the eyebrow arch! What a great error -- couldn't have been better. Makes for great party flow.
Livingroom --- Keep in mind, this is far from finished. Mom, there's laundry for you. Dad, check out the clock above the big window. It's 24 inches tall. You can come visit us now because we really have a clock now that's not on the stove or microwave (though they both have clocks, too.) Check out the detail of the clock below.
Above is the east end of the livingroom -- aka the dining room. For us, it's the end of the livingroom that is office - music room - library.

Above is GDG's room with his new loft bed (we put it together in 3.5 hours) and below is MELG's room which is yet to be arranged. We're thinking we'll just get her a standard bed on a regular frame, nothing fancy, but functional. It's on 'the list.'

Here's where the TV (on 'the list') goes and the new bookshelves (also, on 'the list' of things yet to be purchased as time and $$ allows) will be. You can see that the cable tv is hooked up. We also have it in our bedroom where the old tv is.
So there they are!
Oh, and one more. In the driveway...

Congrats! The house is absolutely wonderful! Cool truck too! Your eyebrow arch is great! Who knew that a horrid mistake could turn out so great!

I love the tile in the kitchen! I agree about party flow and the arch. And I'm sure you can rock uot some obscure karaoke songs to shut the party down in a hurry with the neighbors.

Are you leaving spam on my comment section? What would be the antithesis of nothing??? Thanks for noticing.
Mel, last weekend the lights flashed on and the music blarred at 2:24 a.m. -- apparently TX bar time is 2pm and they weren't finished partying. Needless to say, I went over to the karaoke neighbors at 2:28 a.m. and told them to please turn it down. He did. Thank God he's a happy drunk. The party finally ended 40 minutes before my alarm went off.
