"A House that has a Front Yard... and a BIG AC Compressor"
Sound the trumpets, alert the media, we're within hours of being complete. The cleaning folks come tomorrow, we have the keys, the AC is on, and tomorrow even the Refrigerator will be in place -- they painted the new arch and the area around it that had to be redone so the fridge isn't in there as it's 'wet paint.'
The guys are attening our new live oak -- which incidently is the same type of tree as in our favorite park near N'awlins. Don't know if this variety gets quite that big or sends out limbs in the same way, but it's neat to think that we've planted a tree like the ones lost.
Look at this big, honkin' compressor. It's COOL (pun intended).

Thanks for choosing a live oak tree for your front yard. What ever size it becomes it is a symbol of strength (like families together) and renewal as in the New Orleans area fight to stay alive and well.
Yes, I do know how to say and spell N'awlins and have a great fondness for the area, the people and the live oak trees.
I hope to reenter our favorite state park in Mandeville, LA this winter to see if any of my favoite trees are still standing. Remember these are hardy live oak trees and have seen many storms and hurricanes over the years. Happy New House! Love MOM
